If Dreams Could Come True
Every so often I have a dream, the same dream. The most beautiful dream.
It’s always a Tuesday, in July. A cloudless, windless day that is so hot the roads are beginning to melt and every one is walking around in bare feet and the smallest amount of clothes possible.
I leave my house in pink, stressed denim daisy duke short and a lace top, my bright red hair pulled back into a messed up bun and large white sunglasses. A sliver anklet around my left ankle that makes the sweetest sound with every step I make. The only make up I wear need is lip gloss, this is because, in my dream I’m perfect…everyone is perfect.
I’m slim, toned and confident. Still pale and curvy but I don’t mind, it suits me, I feel great! Not only do I look the way I want, I also have friends (which for me… is a bit of a novelty) I also have a job, all money problems have melted away.
My life seems perfect.
Then I wake up, still dazed from the dream, I rush to the mirror. And it hits me, total disappointment. I’m still the same old, ugly, unpopular girl that went to sleep 8 hours ago.
And every night that I go to bed I hope that I dream that dream again because it’s the closest I’m ever feeling happy with myself.
I hope I dream that dream tonight because I haven’t had it in a while and I’m feeling pretty crappy.
Just thought I share my dream, I bet everyone else has a certain dream.
And if you do, I hope you dream it tonight.

Fucking Powerless
It’s been thirteen and a half hours without power!!! I hate the snow. -_-
About three candles left, no batteries for the torch!!! No milk for a cuppa.

Me: “hi, could you tell me when the fuck the electricity is coming back on????
Stupid Automated Woman: “Please give us your address”
Me: “MEDOMSLEY. WHEN WILL IT BE BACK ON IN MEDOMSLEY!????”
Stupid Automated Woman: “I cannot detect a response”
Me: *tears of anger streaming down face*

*Slams Phone Down*
